Here at Mainline, we're a close-knit team of three who have been working together for many years. Between the three of us we have well over 100 years' experience of travelling around the world. We have a wide range of knowledge between us, each with our own specialist areas of expertise — you can find out more about each of us below.

Vanessa joined us back in 1997 and has travelled all over the world. She has been to Australia and New Zealand many times and is an official registered representative with the Australia Tourist Board. Other areas visited include South America, Canada, Japan, the Far East, China and India. If any of these holiday destinations appeal to you, then feel free to have a chat with Vanessa; she'll be able to provide you with impartial advice, recommend the best areas to visit and the best time of year to travel.
Ian and his wife Vicki took over the business in 1994. During the last 25 years, they have been fortunate enough to have been on many cruise ships, so if you're thinking about a cruise trip, then Ian is definitely the person to speak to! Cruise ships are like hotels; they are 3, 4 and 5 star plus, and different cruise lines — and ships — suit different people. If you would like to compare cruise lines or find the best cruise ships for you, then please feel free to get in touch with Ian for advice.
Karen has been with us for over 20 years; Florida, Las Vegas and family cruising are her particular areas of expertise, so if you're interested in finding out about kid friendly cruises or the top cruise lines for families, then Karen is the person to speak with. She has also travelled extensively throughout Europe. Disneyland Paris and Iceland are other areas where she is well placed to offer expert advice.
We always aim to match any enquiry with the most relevant experienced travel consultant, allowing us to provide a truly personalised service — so if you need any help or advice at all; please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
