Welcome to Mainline Travel! We're an ABTA-registered independent travel agent based in Nottinghamshire.

Your personal travel agent
We're a close-knit team of four, and between us we have over 100 years' experience in travelling around the world. Unlike most travel agents, we are completely independent and can match our clients' needs to the best holiday and tour operator for them. Book with us and you'll have a dedicated consultant who will see you through from enquiry to the day you travel.

History
Mainline Travel first opened its doors in Gedling in 1979.
Ian Forecast and his wife Vicki took over the business in 1994. We have two other highly experienced travel consultants, all of whom have travelled substantially and are experts in worldwide travel. Vanessa Clifford joined us in 1997; and Karen Beck has been with us for more than 20 years. For many years now, we have been running escorted group travel tours, led by tour escort, John Dawn. He is well known in the area and escorts 2 or 3 trips every year which always start and finish in Gedling.
With a wide range of travel knowledge between us all, one of our aims is to match any enquiry with the most relevant experienced travel consultant, which means you will receive expert advice from that moment until the day you travel.
