Escorted group holidays
For many years now we have also been running escorted group tours led by tour escort, John Dawn. John is well known in the area and escorts three or four group trips every year, which always include complimentary coach travel. Our group travel tours start and finish in Gedling, Nottingham.

Group holiday to Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife (November 2026)
Escorted by John Dawn and including coach travel from Gedling to East Midlands airport. Staying for one week at the 4-star Melia Costa Atlantis Hotel, located on the seafront with stunning sea views. Shops, restaurants and bars are just a few minutes level walk away. The hotel has an outdoor pool, spa, buffet restaurant and a bar leading out onto a terraced area. We have chosen front sea view rooms as the preferred option.
Puerto de la Cruz is a charming historic town with very much a colonial feel. The colourful fishing district is adorned with street art and the whole area is lush with flora and fauna. The Botanic Gardens are a must, with over 500 plants from all over the tropics. Enjoy meandering among the hibiscus, bougainvillea, banana, grapefruit and lemon trees.
The Orchid Garden (Sitio Litre) is the oldest surviving garden in Tenerife. Artwork by Marianne North, the well known botanical painter, is placed around the garden, demonstrating it is practically the same as it was 135 years ago. Agathe Christie was so inspired when visiting this garden, she wrote the novel “The mysterious Mr Quinn” basing the plot in Puerto de la Cruz.
We are planning an optional day excursion at additional cost to Teide National Park: a grand tour to the north of Tenerife with spectacular mountain views, visiting Garachio, a locality once partly damaged by volcanic eruption. After lunch we will return via Masca, a place filled with impressive and dramatic landscapes.
The cost per person sharing a double or twin room with front sea view is £1,325. Rooms for sole occupancy are available without sea view from £1,325 and with sea view from £1,725. Breakfast and dinner are included in the cost.
